The place is amazing. The reception team is all great. The concierge is very friendly and helpful, it is wheelchair accessible I have been for afternoon tea here before, all the staff were very attentive and helpful. Some of the rooms need re-doing, but this is currently being re-done. Overall, the place is in a stunning location with amazing staff that work there would recommend to friends in the area

It was OK, location is stunning, we arrived at 2pm but wasn’t allowed to use the SPA until 3 or check in until 3, which was abit of a let down. As soon as we got in the SPA just after 3pm, it was so busy, no seats left, people everywhere, bundles of towels on chairs, it’s a really small spa, we had no where to sit or put our stuff, some people were even asleep on the chairs, so don’t expect to chill by the pool, you’ve gotta chill in it. The dinner was amazing, Food was fantastic but the drink service was incredibly slow, our starter came out before our drinks and the mixologist made my drink wrong twice. We paid a lot for this stay and we expected a lot better experience

Went for afternoon tea with my sisters and it was a lovely experience. The staff were so friendly and very professional. The sandwiches, cakes and pastries were all professionally made had to take some home as too much to eat there. Would definitely be going back again very soon.

Popped over to Rushton for a cup of tea and were welcomed with open arms! We were looked after by Dave, Tom and Katie (who gave my friend and I a spontaneous tour of the hall). She was having a break and wanted to show us around- very professional and an inspirational lady! We will be back very soon. 10/10

What a gorgeous place. Very attentive service from reception to concierge to bar staff. The room was very clean and cosy with a lovely big bed. Excellent shower too. The communal lounges were just beautiful, with Christmas trees and log fires. We spent a few hours in the evening sat in the main hall on a very cosy and squishy sofa by the fire having a drink, and a few more hours the next morning sat in the lounge on a sumptuous sofa drinking tea. We didn't use the pool or have any spa treatments but that is on our list for next time as we will definitely be back. Oh and everywhere had the subtle aroma of pine trees, oranges and cinnamon. Wonderful

Had Sunday lunch here disappointed with the Christmas decorations in the restaurant very bland and cheerless compared with the lounge .Food was good but lack of seasonal veg and served on mediocre crockery ,such a shame it’s a beautiful hotel but not much evidence of luxury. The service and staff are very good .

We had our Christmas party over the weekend, and the entire hotel is simply magical for any Christmas experience. From the real fires to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree and so much more, the festive atmosphere was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. The concierge, in particular, was one of the most welcoming, warm, and kind individual I’ve ever met. Thanks to people like him, the entire experience was elevated to another level.

My husband and I have have just returned home after a stay at The Rushton Hall Hotel & Spa in Kettering. What a totally wonderful luxurious experience from the moment we entered the hotel to when we left. Customer service at its best. Dave met us at the door and welcomed us, carrying our bags, taking us to the reception and showing us to our beautiful room. What a welcome. The staff on the reception desk were professional, courteous and check in was quickly and efficiently managed, thank you. We relaxed in the beautiful lounge with our books and a drink and the bar staff were lovely. Dave made up the roaring fire as the frost outside started to appear and he checked we had everything we required. What a magical experience. I want to mention the room again. Pure luxury, deep piled carpets, thick beautiful curtains, the beautiful bed which we sunk into, the heavenly bathroom, the products and the soft luxurious bathrobes, I could go on but you get the picture. The spa was had great and we enjoyed all the amenities and the treatments were fabulous, shout out to Carly, Naiom and Tammy, who massaged us, oiled us, pampered toes and hands and totally relaxed us. Breakfast was delicious and every member of staff was lovely, shout out to Shirley and Julian and the team (apologies I did not remember all your names) Another shout out to the unseen team/army, who ensure rooms are pristine, towels are fluffy and pillows pumped thank you. The Hall is beautiful and full of history, the exterior is majestic, an architects dream, the beautiful wood panelling, the ceilings with the architrave, and the corridors. There are modern touches but all in keeping. The plush sofas you sink into, the romance of the alcoves overlooking the beautiful immaculat grounds, the stain glass windows where one can experience afternoon tea, looking out onto the lake where the swans reside and pheasants wander, the trees with leaves turning to gold as they fall to the ground.. Our last evening Dave was there, stocking the fire and making us comfortable. It was lovely to chat and be so comfortable and be looked after. The grounds are wonderful and we will be back to watch the season change and experience a different beauty. A shout out to all the gardenering team. On our final morning, Dave was by our side to ensure we were settled in our car with our luggage. A wonderful end. My husband and I were thinking of our special anniversary next year, what should we do, we are now planning another stay at this five star hotel and we know we will be welcomed and looked after. Thank you to all.

Came here for a night away for my boyfriend’s birthday and a relaxing night away. Staff were extremely friendly upon arrival and we got taken to our room which was a lovely touch. The room was spotless, the rustic look of the hotel is beautiful; I’m glad they haven’t modernised it to make it look minimal and lifeless, they’ve kept the old windows and it adds so much character to the place. The bed was very comfortable, room was warm and bath/shower was lovely. On to the spa, the pool is lovely and warm and the jacuzzi is even warmer. They have a good amount of loungers next to the pool. The sauna and steam room are lovely too. The staff at the spa were accommodating and friendly. We didn’t eat here but got a drink from the bar which was classy and the drinks were lovely. We will definitely be returning!

Aa disappointing review to write having eaten at Rushton hall over the years for afternoon tea, dinner a& ifine dining. The food at our latest visit was exceptional but, the service & cleanliness etc let it down We attended last Wed having booked a table for 8pm. We arrived early to have a drink before. I stoped at the ‘wait here’ sign……. And waited. A server going to take a drinks order from another couple walked almost up to me however instead of acknowledging me, I was ignored. Even after taking the order he didn’t take the opportunity to speak & I continued waiting. A bit later another server walks towards me but a couple seated got her attention and she dealt with them. Eventually she made her way to me. I said we had a table booked at 8 & she asked me to sit anywhere. Why there is a sign saying to wait or why the First server could not have said this, but after almost 10 minutes I had a seat. My husband joined me & we looked at the drinks menu to chose cocktails. Our wait was not over. 2 more tables came in & had the waiting game as well, both confirmed they had a table booked for 8. Still we waited. I noticed most empty tables had used glasses not removed. We had two empty pint glasses on our table! Having sat for another 15mins, the server came over and asked if we would like to order a drink. It was now 8 and we would be going through so we asked to see the menu to go straight onto wine. This it seemed was a strange request but after asking another staff member the menu arrived. A Quick Look and decision made. We looked up to get her attention but were ignored. The two tables that arrived after us were taken through. We were getting close to leaving however the server who was just standing behind the bar walked in our direction smiled at us,…… then promptly turned around and stood doing nothing with her back to us. This, dispite having given us the menu to choose our drinks! 15 mins earlier! We finally spoke up & were informed by the server behind the bar that they were busy (too busy to serve people, let alone clean tables) but our 8pm table would be ready shortly. It was now well past 8.15, we asked how long as at the point of leaving. The server returned saying we could go through & we wouldn’t be charged for drinks. The restaurant was reasonably busy but there were a decent number of staff working. Whilst sat waiting for food, we observed tables coming & going. In front of us were three tables, one was already empty although glasses still left on it. (As we noticed was standard) another table them left. A waiter came over & cleared the glasses almost immediately walking past the other empty table leaving those dirty glasses in place where they stayed till the end of the night! Our food arrived & was delicious as always but the service did not improve. I noticed other tables where the food was almost thrown in front of guests. There was no pride in what was being served. Looking around the room, mirrors were dirty, the chandelier was bent and shades sat at an angle and picture glass dusty. It made the place look uncared for. As the evening progressed not one person had dirty glasses or empty bottles removed. A upturned wine bottle in cooler just sat on the table. No one asked of anyone wanted another drink. We had to ask for coffee. The bill arrived without asking though! The food is excellent, but service in no way reflects this, the standard of hotel, or the price of meals. Having had some of our most enjoyable meals here in recent years, this is by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. The claim of being busy was let down by the numerous staff on duty who stood doing nothing. Having worked in the industry myself, I know how busy it can get but cleaning tables takes seconds between serving food. Making sure a restaurant is clean and neat takes no money at all. What a shame to come away feeling as dissatisfied as this. Again I can’t fault the food but a dining experience is so much more than that.

Great but we had a dirty table and cutlery and one glass. Waitress used a damp cloth and only cleaned a tiny part of the table and then got a bit rude when I pointed out ut was still dirty. Then came over with a new knife sprayed the whole table then put my cutlery into the wet disinfectant. Food was lovely mind
